Vacancy Details – STPI JHT 2026

A total of 09 vacancies have been announced for the post of Junior Hindi Translator. The category-wise breakdown is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria – STPI Junior Hindi Translator 2026

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have a Master's Degree from a recognized University, satisfying any one of the following conditions:

• Master's Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject OR as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
• Master's Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject OR as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
• Master's Degree in any other subject with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory/elective subject OR as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
• Master's Degree in any other subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject OR as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
• Master's Degree in any other subject with both Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects OR one as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject at the degree level.

AND (Additional Requirement for Translation Proficiency):

• A recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa; OR
• Two years of experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in a Central Government/State Government office or a Government of India Undertaking.

Age Limit (as on 07 September 2026):

• General/UR: 30 years
• Government Servants: Up to 5 years relaxation
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• PwBD: As per Government of India norms

Nationality:

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

Selection Process – STPI JHT 2026

The selection will be based on a Written Examination. The process will consist of two papers:

Probation Period

Selected candidates will be on a probation period of 02 years from the date of joining.

Salary Details – STPI JHT 2026

Selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Level 6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission:
